George C. Fontana Jr. is an associate at Simmons Jannace, LLP. His practice focuses on Commercial Litigation and General Liability Defense Litigation. George is admitted to practice and has handled matters before the Appellate Division, First and Second Departments, United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, Second Circuit Court of Appeals and New York Supreme Court. He is also an Associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

George is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law and received his Bachelor of Science from Nova Southeastern University. While attending law school, Mr. Fontana also attended the Franklin Pierce School of Law, Intellectual Property Summer Institute (IPSI).

He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Columbian (Italian-American) Lawyers Association of Nassau County and a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association. His pro-bono work includes providing legal representation to the victims of the 9/11 World Trade Center tragedy, with claims before the Special Master of the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund.
