Michael Kern has been an associate with the law firm of Simmons Jannace, LLP since November of 2000. His practice is focused on the defense of large corporations in personal injury and bankruptcy litigation in the state courts of New York and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is also admitted to practice law in Connecticut.
Prior to his admission to the bar, Mr. Kern attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1996. He then attended law school at Hofstra University School of Law, where he graduated in the top 15% of his class in 1999 and was named to the Dean's List for the 1997-98 and 1998-99 academic years.
Away from work, Mr. Kern enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
